Lamborghini completely restored the first Miura SV for the car's 50th anniversary

50 years ago, in 1966, the gorgeous Lamborghini Miura was introduced. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic mid-engined supercar, Lamborghini's PoloStorico division has painstakingly restored the original Miura SV (Super Veloce) that was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 1971.
SV is Lamborghini nomenclature for its fastest and most hardcore models, with this particular Miura, chassis #4846, a mixture of parts from the previous Miura S and what would come on later SV models. In its original metallic green Verde Metallizata with tan leather, the restoration included a complete teardown of the chassis and engine. Lamborghini saying it used photos and archived historical documents to return the car as closely to the original as possible.
To celebrate the Miura's Golden Anniversary, the restored SV was shown to automotive enthusiasts and collectors at the Amelia Island Concours earlier this month in Florida. Don't expect to add this to your automotive collection any time soon, however — it's privately owned and, at the moment, is not for sale.
